Ted And Margaret, My Examples

It is sad for me to face the reality that our teachers Ted and Margaret would move to another city. They seem to be always available in Montreal to show us their love for God, their love for the students.
I first came to know the two lovely teachers back in year 1999. Even though I was baptized in Changsha in 1992, I hardly know much about Christian faith when I landed in Montreal as a new immigrant. As soon as I know that both teachers were giving English bible courses at Grace Alliance Church, I joined with no hesitation. The first class went very well, it was funny that because Margaret had a beautiful musical voice and spoke clear and easy-to-understand English, I was so carried away by her pleasant voice and hardly remember much of the course content. Of course, this has been corrected in the following classes and a great friendship has just begun.
Margaret and Ted have been my role models in so many ways. They have tremendous love for their students. When they see that I did not know how to discipline my 3 years and half old daughter, they went to buy me a book by famous Christian author Dr. James Dobson: On Parenting, which has helped me enormously on educating my daughter Tina and later even my son Samuel. The kindness that two teachers have shown to me and my family will have positive impacts to generations to come. In 2008, I began to co-work with the English Bible Class, to offer job hunting seminars to new immigrants. It was the generosity and unconditional love that both teachers demonstrated greatly moved me and I have been honored to serve the students along with the teachers.
Ted and Margaret never fail to share God’s love in everything that they do. Wonderful people like them make us realize just how much God loves us. Their kindness , generosity and compassion and loving gives us a glimpse of heaven. Their amazing spirit and unshakable faith have inspired me to be a better Christian and a better human being. I am forever grateful for both of them. I hardly can find the right words to show all the gratitude that I have in my heart. My life has changed since they became part of it and I must say they have made me who I am today. I wish I could also serve God in the ways they demonstrated.
I certainly will greatly miss Ted and Margaret and we will be in touch. May God continue to bless their life with their boundless gifts!
